ELLEN’S STARDUST DINER, in the heart of the Theatre District in Times Square in New York City, is home to the world famous singing waiters, the Stardusters. The NEW FACES of 2018 STARDUSTER SHOWCASE ~ Broadway Night will feature five Stardusters celebrating the music of the Great White Way.
At the piano will be Musical Director Mark Hartman with hosting duties shared by Lisa Asher & Scott Barbarino, Artistic Director of ELLEN’S STARDUST DINER. Emcee Lisa Asher also dons her director’s hat for this special night. NEW FACES of 2018, presented by ELLEN’S STARDUST DINER, is a collaborative effort to give Stardusters the opportunity to showcase their individual talents, in an effort to get these crazy talented individuals work in theatre & live entertainment.
Starduster Shannon Antalan is a burger slinging singing ball of fun! So grateful to sing with such talented creatives. Shannon has been seen on Broadway in Caroline and Change, 1st Nat’l tour of Hairspray as Lil Inez several off broadways, regional shows and numerous National Commercials. Shannon has two albums available on iTunes and is currently in the studio with a new gospel album featuring her on the ukulele! More importantly she spends time with her loves Gabrielle and Emanuel.
Mollie Craven is incredibly blessed by the Ellen’s Stardust Diner community. She is a born and raised Austinite, got her theatre degree from Oklahoma City University, and has called New York home since. Select New York credits include: Commedia Cinderella and Commedia Rapunzel Off-Broadway, Almost Maine, Floyd Collins, and A Drink With Death at 54 Below. She has performed regionally all over the country in shows like Shrek, Music Man, Damn Yankees, and Hairspray, to name a few, and she recently disembarked the Seabourn Sojourn vessel, where she sang all over the globe. @cravensomemolls // www.mollie-craven.com
Patrick Pevehouse is so grateful to be collaborating with such talent and creativity. Before coming to the diner, Patrick toured the country as Lumiere, the shamelessly flirty candelabra, in Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Other credits include the national tour of THE WIZARD OF OZ (Scarecrow) and numerous stints on Disney Cruise Line with TOY STORY THE MUSICAL (Woody). Ryan Patrick Smith can’t believe it’s already been a year of burgers and tunes. A recent transplant from Houston, his favorite credits include The Rocky Horror Show(TUTS), Shrek(Mainstreet Theater), Panto:Rapunzel and Zombies(Stages Rep.), Avenue Q(Standing Room Only) and Musical of Musicals(TheatreLab Houston), among others. Ryan graduated in 2015 from Sam Houston State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. For Mom.
