ELLEN’S STARDUST DINER, in the heart of the Theatre District in Times Square in New York City, is home to the world famous singing waiters, the Stardusters. The NEW FACES of 2018 STARDUSTER SHOWCASE ~ Broadway Night will feature five Stardusters celebrating the music of the Great White Way.
At the piano will be Musical Director Mark Hartman with hosting duties shared by Lisa Asher & Scott Barbarino, Artistic Director of ELLEN’S STARDUST DINER. Emcee Lisa Asher also dons her director’s hat for this special night. NEW FACES of 2018, presented by ELLEN’S STARDUST DINER, is a collaborative effort to give Stardusters the opportunity to showcase their individual talents, in an effort to get these crazy talented individuals work in theatre & live entertainment.
Zach Carter is just happy to be here. He has been Stardusting for over two years! Alexis Ebers comes from a family of musicians in New York State. She is a graduate of Indiana University and the two-year Meisner Conservatory Program at Maggie Flanigan Studio in NYC. Favorite past roles include Amy (Company), Cosette (Les Miserables), and performances at Playwrights Horizons and The Cherry Lane Theatre. She is currently playing Agnes in The Secret Theatre’s production of “Gypsy.”
Megan Dwinell is so grateful for the second family she has found here at Ellen’s. She is currently a senior at Pace University graduating this May with a degree in Arts and Entertainment Management and a minor in Special Events Marketing. Favorite past credits include Seussical (Gertrude), Shrek (Princess Fiona), and Spring Awakening (Anna, u/s Martha).
Marissa is thrilled to share stage with this whimsical group of artists! When she isn’t slinging burgers at the diner, you can find her creating “History through Harmony” with vintage trio America’s Sweethearts. She recently created and debuted her solo show, “In the Meantime” at The Green Room 42 and has some exciting shows coming up this spring. Other credits include; Wicked Nat. Tour, Pirates! (Or Gilbert and Sullivan Plunder’d) at The Huntington Theatre and Lisa and Leonardo at the NYMF Festival, among other adventures. Marissa is a proud graduate of The Boston Conservatory.
Paul Victor most recently traveled the US and Canada with the National Tour of Dirty Dancing. Other credits include Tony Manero inSaturday Night Fever, Pittsburgh CLO, City Theatre of Pgh, Palace NH. Writer/Star of MESS for HereTV (HereTV, Amazon, Hulu). Thank you Scott, Lisa, and Mark!
