Sid Griffin is a Kentucky-born musician, author, and music historian celebrated for his work in the genres of alt-country and Americana. Griffin rose to prominence in the 1980s as the frontman of the Long Ryders, a key band in the cowpunk and alt-country movement. Beyond his work as a musician, Griffin is an accomplished author, penning books on Bob Dylan and Gram Parsons, and a regular contributor to music journalism.
